Among the Fish - Journey into a Strange World (GER & IT, EN on demand)
During a guided tour of the aquarium, there’s much for school-children and students to learn about the fish and other life forms inhabiting the waterways of South Tyrol.

Life in a Mountain Stream
Besides fish, other small forms of life also inhabit the high mountain waters. School-children can examine and identify the larvae of different species of water insects living in the Suldenbach stream in South Tyrol.

aquaprad Visitor Centre: Guided Tour of the "Glacier Water ... Snow ... Ice ...”
There is much to learn about Alpine glaciers. Starting at the Ice Age, the exhibition shows the creation and transformation of these massive land masses, the phenomenon of glacier blocks and permafrost. It looks at different life-forms inhabiting the glaciers and how tardigrades, glacier fleas, blood snow, map lichen and glacier buttercups manage to survive in this inhospitable “white world”. The effects of global warming and modern scientific research are also dealt with in the aquaprad Visitor centre exhibition.
