Encompassing the mountains of the Ortler-Cevedale Group, the Stelvio National Park is one of the largest nature reserves in Europe. With a complex network of over 250 km clearly-marked hiking routes, the Stelvio National Park has developed into one of the most diverse outdoor recreational areas in the Alps with a lot of places to discover in the heart of the Stelvio National Park.

In the vicinity of the Ortler-Cevedale Mountains, the Martelltal/Val Martello and the Ultental/Val d'Ultimo valleys, lie a network of varied trails. These include high-altitude paths and via ferrata for experienced climbers. The mountains of the Stelvio National Park offer a choice of routes of various difficulty levels for hikers.
