I’m from Morter near Latsch/Laces and, together with my husband and four children, I live on the Niederwieshof farm at the entrance of the Martelltal Valley. About two years ago, my husband handed the running of the farm down to our son, Thomas, who enjoys it. Two of our children have already moved out of our home.
On the farm, I’m responsible for making our homemade fruit syrups and fruit spreads, as well as the sale of the finished products. When catering for the morning buffet at our farm guesthouse, I mainly make use of local/regional and fresh, seasonal produce.
Once a week I hold bread baking lessons for those interested: locals and guests alike. I’m also in charge of organising the guided farm tours.
As a participant in SBO's further training courses, I like being able to use my hobbies (i.e. baking and cooking), to share my knowledge and experience with others.
