EXHIBITON

The World of Birds

People have always wondered about birds in flight. This also extends to the Stelvio National Park, where numerous bird species occupy a wide variety of natural habitats. The avimundus Visitor Centre provides a comprehensive insight into the world of birds in the Alpine regions.

SPECIAL EXHIBITION

Photo exhibition at the Visitor Centre avimundus and library of Schlanders
The Visitor Centre avimundus and the public library of Schlanders are jointly presenting a special photo exhibition dedicated to native bird life. The exhibition will be on display at both locations from 12 January to 28 February 2026, offering an exciting insight into the diversity of native bird species.
On display are over 50 expressive bird portraits depicting both well-known and lesser-known bird species.
The photographs were taken by photographers Christian Kofler and Aldo Comincioli, who have been intensively involved in bird photography for many years. With great patience, technical skill and a trained eye for the right moment, they have succeeded in capturing impressive snapshots.
