Gentian and alpine herbs

On this walk, we will get to know the different gentians, the Alpine rose, and the variety of our mountain herbs. During the day, we will move through different habitats, from dry stone walls and meadows to forests, alpine pastures, and rocky areas. Every plant has its own story to tell.

• Duration: 5 hours
• You need: Outdoor clothing, backpack (with spare clothes, rain jacket, snacks and drinks), hiking boots
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Difference in hight: between 400 and 600 m elevation gain
• Tour length: between 6 and 10 km
• During the hike: Break at a rustic hut
• Shuttle: Free return transfer with our hiking bus from the bus stop at the Lahnersäge Visitor Centre in St. Gertraud.
