At the Rif. Serristori/Düsseldorferhütte in Solda, everyone will find that special something. The small playground, the bridge over the small lake next to the hut and the raft on the mountain lake further back, made of local wood, ensure lots of fun for young and old. The Reinstadler family has been serving their guests at the Rif. Serristori for 5 generations. Great value is placed on local products from South Tyrol and, depending on availability, from their own home farm in Solda. The hike offers a wonderful view of the triumvirate of Ortler, Cevedale and Zebrù.
The Kanzellift takes you comfortably to 2,350m and then you follow the trail no. 12 and trail no. 5 to the Düsseldorfer-hut (2,721m). The way downhill is via trail no. 5 down to the valley.
From Sulden you reach the hut via trail no. 5 through the Zay-valley. Along a rushing river the path leads past green mountain meadows always with eye contact to King Ortler. The descent is via the same path. (↔ 9.8km, ↑ 885m, ↓ 885m)
